George Farley, MD
Dr George Farley attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical School and graduated in 1969. His internship was for one year in Los Angeles at the USC Medical Center. After that he did a 3 year residency in radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska and was the chief resident his final year.
Dr George then did a year fellowship focused on interventional radiology at the U of N medical center. With the advent of new technology he took another full year fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wi. Dr George became board certified in radiology in 1975 then later earned the Certificate of Added Qualification in both interventional radiology and in neuroradiology as well as earned status as a Senior Fellow in Neuroradiology Society. Dr George has been a member of the American College of Radiology, North American Radiology Society, Society of Interventional Radiology, International Spine Injection Society plus state and local radiology societies.
Dr George has spent time teaching radiology residents and fellows plus a career mostly hospital based doing private practice focused on intervention radiology and neuroradiology. Dr George has served on multiple hospital committees such as credentials comittee. For the past 7 plus years Dr George has helped nurture Comprehensive Spine Center of Dallas to grow into a premier comprehensive ortho/spine practice based in the Dallas Forth Worth area. The future is bright with the addition of new locations and adding traumatic brain injury to help our patients.
Dr George has been civic minded serving on city council, president of local soccer clubs and the Milwaukee Soccer club with 10,000 members. His outside interests are his wife, children and grand children. His hobbies are travel, soccer, football, skiing and playing with the grand kids.
