Dr. Scott Farley is a spine doctor who specializes in complex spinal disorders. He has extensive experience with new and minimally invasive spine procedures.
Dr. Farley is an orthopedic spine surgeon, board certified with the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Farley specializes in surgery of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Botsford General Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Farley continued his training by completing a fellowship in spinal reconstruction surgery with Dr. Holt and Dr. Majd in Louisville, Kentucky, at Spine Surgery, PSC.
Dr. Scott Farley has authored and published spinal research in the international publication, Spine. He has also presented spinal research at some of the world’s most prestigious spine meetings, including NAAS (North American Spine Association) and SRS (Scoliosis Research Society).
Dr. Scott Farley moved to Dallas, Texas, after spending three years working and training with the Spine and Scoliosis Center of Orlando. This practice was a true training ground and gave Dr. Farley extensive experience in all aspects of spine care from spinal pain management to spinal surgery. It gave Dr. Farley access to new and innovative technologies in the field of spine surgery not yet available to most surgeons at the time. Dr. Farley cared for and operated on hundreds of the most complex spine cases in central Florida.
Dr. Farley performs all types of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery and specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery as well as adult deformity surgery.
Known for his attentive and compassionate bed-side manner as well as his skill in the operating room, Dr. Farley is an innovator in the field of spinal surgery. He is constantly researching developments with spinal implant manufacturers, to take advantage of new products and techniques designed to produce better results in spinal surgery.
